Welcome to the website of CHATHAM IMPROV, an improvisational comedy group located in the Hudson Valley-Capital District area of New York. Our shows have been described as "evenings of contagious laughter.". Modeled along the stye of Drew Carey's TV Show "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" all of the suggestions for characters, situations and interactions come from the audience.

HERE'S A LIST OF SOME OF THE BITS WE DO DURING A TYPICAL SHOW:

We are also available for private parties, corporate functions, as well as dinner and show events. If you would like more information, please call John Wallace at 518-392-7062 or click on one of the buttons on the left to complete a form.

SOME COMMENTS FROM PREVIOUS SHOWS

"What do you get when you throw together, on stage, a retired State Trooper, a piano tuner, a service station owner and an intuitive consultant, then add frequest audience participation, peppered with an anything goes approach? Answer: a never-ending series of punch lines, thanks to the improvisational talents of the group." Chatham Press

"Entertaining for the audience and a real showcase for such talented performers. Just plain fun!" Hudson River Sampler

"I liked the variation in games, the easy, fun atmosphere you create."

"I liked the obvious fun YOU guys were having - it was contagious. Also the quick wits you exhibit. Keep it coming - I'll be back!!"
